Nice case!
It is not only cute, but stretchy and durable. Besides, it prevents your controller from slipping out of your hands. So far, I am pleased with it. Get one if you're not afford to buy new controller for replacement.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
This cable is complete junk. I thought I would be able to save a few bucks and go with a third party cable, BIG MISTAKE.
On the up side the shipping was quick and cheap, but that doesn't save this review from the horrible quality of this product. It constantly produces a "double vision" effect, where there is a second instance of everything on screen. I thought I could put up with it, so I used it for a week, it was so terrible that by the second day I was getting migraines. I know what i'm doing and how to configure my setup, you can adjust the contrast and some overdrive settings to make it less noticible, but its still what I would consider terrible video quality.
Trust me, if you need to hook up to a VGA port for HD (I run at 1920x1080), just go with the real deal from microsoft, 40 bucks is steep but dont keep wasting your cash on third party junk.
This is a Great Adapter - But its no Fairy Tale result either.
This device is pricey for an adapter. The price of the XCM XFPS Sniper is just plain LUDICROUS!!!
The expense goes further with the requirement of a WIRED Controller. Make sure its an Official Microsoft Wired Controller too. Third party Ones may not be reliable.
*****BTW... A Wireless Controller hooked up with a USB Charge & Play Kit WILL NOT WORK (I Tried IT). The adapter needs to be digitally signed through a USB connection. The Wireless Controller will only draw power from the USB C&P Kit but will still connect wirelessly.*****
After you have gotten your max Shooter and your wired controller you are ready. the instructions are really simple and you can have a config on your keyboard how you like it in minutes. The PS2 controller connection works beautifully. The keyboard works flawlessly whether USB or PS/2 connected.
The mouse is the issue. There is no automatic magical conversion.
Getting your mouse to work requires striking a balance between the type of first person shooter you are playing, the axis sensitivities within the game and the sensitivities in the adapter itself. Your Best Bet may be too place the sensitivities in the game you are playing to as much as possible for both the X&Y axis and then fiddle with the max shooter wheels for the best arrangement. This trial and error procedure must be done for every game you play. What works great and feels PC-like for F.E.A.R. 2 will be a complete disaster when u play Halo 3. Even worse if you still play the Orange Box as I do.
Over the shoulder games like Grand theft Auto 4 or Resident Evil 5 are too problematic sometimes in my experience. If the run command is on the keyboard. Running and turning cant be done because the input simplynever registers, its either one or the other.
I have noticed it in RE5 mostly.
The good thing is, if you have the controller still plugged in you can always pick it up and play some portions with the controller and get back to the mouse and keyboard for the shooting parts like in GTA4.
***** The Max Shooter supports all connections simultaneously. So a keyboard and mouse and a Playstation 2 Controller and a Joystick can all be connected at once and all can be used to provide input. The max Shooter can only support one player at a time. It CANNOT function like a MultiTap. So if you want to be playing 2 player fighting games with 2 PS2 controllers you will Need TWO MAX SHOOTER ADAPTERS. also known as money.*****
At the end of it all, getting the mouse to work really well is tricky at first but very doable.
I haven't tested steering wheels for racing or joysticks for ace combat and such but when I do those reviews will come.
There is no headset support on the adapter so you will have to keep the wired controller in the Max Shooter to have that feature when you are fragging online with your keyboard and mouse.
The Max Shooter saves your button layouts so you can turn off or unplug it without having to reconfigure each time. Only the mouse settings MAY need changing when u play a different game.
All in all its a great adapter. Allows PC gamers on a budget to still play high def shooters without shelling out tons on PC hardware. The need for a wired controller may seem like a lot but you wont have to worry about battery life and its a more comfortable controller by lacking the battery pack bulge in the back.
SO THE MAX SHOOTER for XBOX 360 IS DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED... even thought its black when all else is white (except Elites of course) and costs a fair amount of money.
Not what I'd hoped for.
I bought this after trying to play COD4 (First Person Shooter) for xbox 360 and getting beaten constantly. I originally played all FPS games on PC and was used to the good old keyboard and mouse setup. Aiming with the 360 controller seemed way too awkward. Well the Maxx shooter seemed to be the answer to my prayers, guess what, it's wasn't. First off, I had to buy a wired xbox controller to make it work, that's an extra $40 down the drain. Second, it only has 2 USB ports. One for the xbox controller leaving only one for your mouse/keyboard. Ended up having to get a PS2 keyboard instead. After all this the unit worked as advertised less one important thing. You can't aim to save you life. The conversion of mouse movements to xbox controller motions is complete crap. The cursor jumps all over the place, and the tracking is horrible. After trying on 3 separate occassions to get the settings just right, including using the in game sensitivity settings, using different mice, I gave up. If your thinking of buying this for the same reasons as me, don't! If you have issues aiming via xbox controller, I have some advice. Practice, Practice, Practice, I'm now just as good with the xbox controller as I ever was with a mouse. You just have to put in the time to learn. Also, there is an inexpensive xbox controller add on out there that will help with your aim. Not sure I should mention it here but the name starts with "FPS" and and ends with "Freeks". Do a search.
Better than a n00bstick
If you're a PC gamer looking to play some FPS (or RTS) on the 360, the Max Shooter is a must. It's not perfect; you will need to tweak the mouse sensitivity controls for each game you play, but it generally only takes a few seconds and then you're good to go. The keyboard works straight-out unless you need to reconfigure the keys, which you shouldn't really have to because they're laid out in a standard PC configuration by default.
Caveats: Requires a bit of tweaking, but again no big deal. A little jittery compared to a PC, but still infinitely better than trying to aim with the stick. A bit pricey, but again it's worth it to not have to use the stick (though ~$25 would be a more reasonable price). You will need an additional wired controller, ps/2 keyboard & mouse (so you'll have a USB port free), but I needed a second controller anyway and had the keyboard and mouse lying around, and they can be bought cheaply anyway.
PC perfect? No. Better than a n00bstick? YES. If you're used to FPSing on a PC but still want to use the 360 for some games (to not have to install a game that you only want to play for a short time, for example), the Max Shooter is worth it.

Well there isn't much to say its a Gamer Graffix!Well its always great to tweak out your game systems with cool designs,it just depends on your taste and what your looking for.One thing for sure, this gamer graffix was very easy to apply to my 360.Took me about 4 minutes to do it and it didnt wear and tear on me at all and everyone loved how cool it looked. To bad my 360 system crashed on me and i had to get a new one,but i will defintely be getting another design soon for my new 360 and i recommend everyone to decorate there systems with these cool designs.
Good looking but cheap
The product looks grand but its easly broken. When the Xbox 360 skin arived it was damaged. the one of the plastic coverings for the skin was pealing off. The front part never worked so don't even bother. I would say if you are willing to spend the money for this buy it, if not find one in a store that you can see and is good quality.
WISH THEY HAD IT IN PINK
it seems like all the faceplates or skins i have seen for the xbox 360 have all been themed for guys... i am a girl and own a 360 and would like to see them come out in sum kind of girl themed skins.. preveribly pink.. i am disapointed that there isnt!
Media Playback DVD Remote Control Kit for XBOX 360
I recently gave my son an XBOX 360 so he does not bother me much about going to Blockbuster [though he still does, sometimes even more than he used to do]. This DVD Remote Control Kit is for XBOX 360 that let him do exactly what he can do with regular DVD Players but it works for XBOX 360. So, when he gets bored with playing games he just switches to DVD mode and plays movie. This product is a simple, logical solution. Works perfectly, is highly portable, and it WORKS. The unit, although a plastic housing, seems sturdy enough. Price is comparable to other
